Let’s be up front — the flowers are an attention-grabbing gimmick (but boy do they grab your attention). But plenty of enjoyable courses have gimmicks (ahem island green at TPC). But what you have at SentryWorld is something that shouldn’t be overlooked — a really really good golf course. It’s not hip or trendy, it’s just…good. A classic, American golf course — beautifully maintained — with trees and water and challenging, beautiful holes. And after a recent renovation, its even better. They don’t built them like this anymore.

SentryWorld is open May through October.
Temperatures should be pleasant – consistently above 50 degrees – any time the course is open (October may be a tad chilly). July is the hottest month, with average highs topping 80 degrees. Rainfall is pretty consistent May through September, with October being a tad drier.
Any time SentryWorld is open should be a good time to play, with May-June and September probably being the most pleasant months.
