Florence Golf Links

Florence, OR

A golf course in three movements, each better than the last

Before Bandon Dunes, there was another standout new course on the Oregon Coast. And despite the firepower, attention and acclaim now focused to 90 minutes to the south, Florence Golf Links (formerly Sandpines) is still very much worth your time. Designed by Rees Jones (Robert Trent’s son), Florence presents a varied routing that provides tastes of modern links-style play, holes cut through think coastal forests and an acclaimed water-drenched closing sequence that’s one of the strongest – and hardest – finishes around. If you’re looking for more courses to play on your Bandon trip, Florence (along with Bandon Crossing) are the pick of the litter.
