Sometimes, we should all be glad somebody didn’t do the expect thing. A desert course high above the Columbia River 3 hours from Seattle (and just about everywhere else)? A design that’s super fun, very hard and a bit ridiculous at times? Case point: A 668 yard par 5 with a 180 foot drop. Sometimes we should be glad somebody didn’t try to build a proper course with no surprises, and instead built a course that’ll give you stories to tell.

Desert Canyon is open March through November.
Desert Canyon – as the name implies – is in a dry area. Rain shouldn’t be much of a problem. April through October should be warm and pleasant and would be a great time to play Desert Canyon.
