Bend, Oregon

A brilliant brute leaping back and forth across the Little Deschutes River

Oregon doesn’t get enough credit. It’s a spectacular state. And Crosswater is a tour of all that makes Oregon great. With dramatic mountains in the (not-so-far) distance, extinct volcanos, meandering rivers, meadows, forests and more, Sunriver is Oregon in a nutshell. All this wouldn’t mean anything if Crosswater didn’t deliver on the golf front. It does, and more. This is a hard course, but a deeply enjoyable one. Water is everywhere – the name is not a suggestion. You’d better be accurate, or you’ll be down a serious amount of balls. Crosswater is easily one of the highlights of Oregon’s golfing scene.

When to Play

Crosswater is open from early April until late October.

Bend is pretty dry – it’s unlikely to rain the months the course is open. And it should nice-to-hot most months. Any time Crosswater is open is a good time to play.

Information not available, but it’s Bend is pretty freaking beautiful and sunny most of the year.
